Privacy and responsible analytics

This version uses minimal first-party measurement to understand which parts of the directory work, without creating user profiles.

What we record

We record only action type and source section—for example, a profile appearing, a disclosed promotion entering the viewport, a profile opening or an anonymous professional-interest signal. Closed search categories may be grouped to identify supply gaps. We do not retain free-text searches.

What we do not store

• No analytics cookies.
• No name, email, phone number or session identifiers for directory analytics.
• No clinical or patient information.
• No advertising-platform sharing.

Free text and safety

Free text is interpreted temporarily in the browser. Generated URLs retain only closed categories. Direct expressions of immediate risk trigger public-help information but are not stored or classified.

Leaving the directory

When you contact a professional, you leave EMDR Match. Their website and privacy information then apply.
