BEFORE APPLYING

Who is it for?

We accept international applications from eligible professionals. Every record preserves the country of practice and registration jurisdiction; appearing in one country does not imply authorisation to serve another.

RESPONSIBLE PUBLISHING

Application, review and publication are separate steps

  1. 1You submit professional detailsNo clinical records or sensitive documents.
  2. 2We check the informationWe may request clarification through a separate channel.
  3. 3You approve the final profileThe application is never published automatically.
HOW MATCHING WORKS

Useful decision fields, not an opaque list

The profile turns concrete professional information into understandable filters. Search never infers a diagnosis and cannot guarantee clinical fit.

RESPONSIBLE LAUNCH

Named applications will open with complete legal information

The review system is ready, but we will not collect names or email addresses until controller, purpose, retention and rights information is published. Meanwhile, you can leave an anonymous signal to help us prioritise opening.

We store only the selected country; no name, email address or clinical information.
STANDARDS AND TRANSPARENCY

Training and accreditation do not mean the same thing

EMDR Match describes the checked level precisely. As a European reference, EMDR Europe distinguishes standard training from Practitioner accreditation, which adds experience, supervision and competency assessment. EMDR Match is an independent directory and does not grant that accreditation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before submitting an application

Who can apply for an EMDR Match profile?

Mental-health professionals who are eligible to provide psychotherapy in their jurisdiction and have specific EMDR training. The application separates profession, registration, EMDR training and accreditation; submitting it does not guarantee publication.

Must I be an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner?

Not to submit an application, but completed training and current practitioner accreditation are not presented as equivalent. A profile states only the level that can be checked, and EMDR Match may limit or reject an ambiguous listing.

How does my profile appear in search?

Search uses published fields such as location, format, therapy languages, populations served and areas of work. A user’s explicit preference outweighs any promotion, and featured placement is visibly disclosed.

Is my application published automatically?

No. Professional details are reviewed first, a draft profile is then prepared, and the applicant approves the public information. Documents used for checks are not published.

What is included in the free basic profile?

An indexable professional page with location, formats, languages, areas of work and a contact link. Verification and editorial promotion are separate: payment or featured placement cannot buy a badge or override a search mismatch.

Can I apply if I practise outside Spain?

Yes. We accept international applications and record country of practice separately from professional jurisdiction. Spain remains the first public market; new geographic pages open only when reviewed real supply exists. Each professional remains responsible for applicable registration, insurance, privacy and cross-border practice rules.

How do I add my EMDR practice to the directory?

Start on this page and submit an application when the identified form is open. We will ask for professional details, registration, jurisdiction, country of practice, languages, formats, areas and EMDR training. While it remains closed, you can record an anonymous country-level signal; do not submit personal details through that channel.
